Live Life Wide Open Young Leaders Journey
LLWO Young Leaders is a leadership and discipleship journey for young people aged 17+ who want to grow in confidence, character, faith, and leadership through real-life experiences, adventure, community, and service.
At Youth Encounter, we believe leadership is not just about leading others — it starts with learning who you are and becoming the person you were created to be.
This journey is designed for young people who want to:
grow personally and spiritually
build confidence and resilience
develop leadership skills
make a positive impact in the lives of others
be part of a strong and encouraging community
Through volunteering in Youth Encounter camps and community events, young leaders will gain hands-on experience while being mentored and supported to grow in their identity, purpose, hope, and resilience.
LLWO Young leaders will journey together through:
Camps and events
Adventure and outdoor experiences
Leadership opportunities
Team culture and belonging
Mentoring and reflection
Practical service and responsibility
Faith discussions and spiritual growth
Supporting younger participants
Learning life and leadership skills

LLWO Young Leaders has a strong Christian faith foundation integrated throughout the journey.
Young leaders will have opportunities to:

engage in meaningful conversations about faith and life
develop leadership grounded in integrity, humility, and contribution
We aim to create a safe and authentic environment where young people can grow spiritually while learning to lead others well.
