Snow Fest 25 Camp

We are thrilled to offer a 4-day snow camp, where you'll enjoy skiing or snowboarding on Mount Ruapehu's Whakapapa ski field while staying at an alpine lodge at the base of the ski field road. Evenings will be filled with fun camp activities such as cooking dinner, games, hanging out with great people, and engaging in life-giving discussions about faith.
When: 27th Sept - 1st Oct 2026

Who: 12 -17 year old's
Fee: $250 early bird (any rental equipment or lift passes you require will be at your own additional cost)
Please note: The snow activities are weather-dependent. We will confirm three days prior whether it will proceed as planned or if alternative activities will be arranged.

For lift pass and gear hire pricing, please visit the Whakapapa Ski Field website. Lift passes for youth 11 - 17 are approximately $69 per day (official prices are not released yet) . Any rental equipment (clothing or gear) is an additional cost.
There will be transport leaving from Youth Encounter Home Base Sunday and returning on Thursday. You will need to enquire about this with us and book it in. ($20 charge for transport)
Also, we will NOT provide Ski & Snowboard lessons. If it is your first time we highly recommend you book a lesson with a professional through the Whakapapa website.
We’re currently trying to arrange a group discount for gear hire.
If you’re travelling with us and need to hire gear, we’ll send you a separate form to fill out. Please note this is not confirmed yet — we’re doing our best to make it happen but availability may be limited.
