Summer Blast is more than just a camp. It is a positive community experience where young people find belonging, discover purpose, and build hope for their future.
Set on the edge of Lake Karapiro, Summer Blast combines epic dirt bike riding, exciting lake activities, meaningful friendships, and opportunities to grow in confidence and faith. Through shared adventures, team challenges, daily reflections, and plenty of fun, young people are encouraged to step outside their comfort zone and discover the incredible potential they carry.

What to Bring
Participants are required to bring their own dirt bike and a full set of riding gear that meets the requirements outlined in our Dirt Bike Equipment Regulations.
All bikes and riding gear will be checked upon arrival to ensure they meet our safety standards before participating in riding activities. We are committed to creating a safe environment where young people can confidently challenge themselves, learn new skills, and enjoy the adventure.

Safety
At Youth Encounter, safety and adventure go hand in hand. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality adventure experiences with professional safety systems, experienced leaders, and a strong culture of personal responsibility.
While activities such as dirt bike riding naturally involve an element of risk, participants will be taught practical skills and techniques to help them manage risk, make good decisions, and ride safely throughout camp. For additional information on our safety compliance click here.
